Exus Renewables appointed asset manager for 350MW BNZ Spanish solar portfolio

Exus to provide financial management expertise leading up to COD, followed by technical and financial asset management services throughout operational phase

The acquisition marks a further expansion of Exus’ renewable energy portfolio as the company continues its transition into an independent power producer

Glennmont Partners from Nuveen (“Glennmont”), one of the world’s largest fund managers investing in clean energy, and Exus Renewables (“Exus”), independent renewables asset management and development firm, have agreed to co-develop c.800MW of battery storage projects in southern Italy, with each company co-developing a portfolio of c.400MW of projects.

Partners Group plans to transform Exus into a next-generation platform that builds, owns, and operates renewables assets, whilst still providing asset management services.
