Developing a solar PV project alongside an operational wind farm at the 85MW facility will add green capacity to the grid by taking advantage of pre-existing infrastructure to generate power more consistently, mitigatingaspects of intermittency.

Exus’ data-driven, technology-agnostic BlueSky management system willprovide full oversight of solar and wind performance to identify and mitigateissues before they occur, enhancing asset productivity and transparency inreporting.

Carlos Tello Garcia, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Exus, said: “Hybrid solar and wind projects represent a significant opportunity tooptimise the grid. This scheme represents the next step in Portuguese renewableenergy development, and we are proud to be at the forefront of innovation inthe sector.”
